We also do not accept tips. This alleviates any awkwardness for our clients. Sometimes it can be hard to know how much to tip so we dismiss this entirely and it helps to make the visit more comfortable so we can focus on your look.

This is the best salon I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly, but more importantly educated about hair, style and color. I believe most of the staff are L'Oreal professional educators. I know the girl I had, Jessica was and she was hip to all the new styles out there. The view from the salon was absolutely amazing. You could see the harbor, the tugboats and the bridge. Thanks 6 Degrees. ii have found my permanent Potsmouth Salon.

I have tried a bunch of Salons in the Portsmouth area but I finally found my gem. 6 Degrees is absolutely the only salon I will ever go to again. You're greeted with a smile every time you walk in and the stylists listen to what you want instead of imposing their will upon you. The staff was very knowledgeable about technique and product and I walked out feeling refreshed. The salon is just beautiful with an unbelieveable view of the Harbor. Also there was no tipping which I thought was a brilliant idea. Not because I'm cheap, but I was never educated on how much I should leave, whether it was too much or too little. This salon alleviates that awkward feeling I used to get at the end of every cut. Thanks 6 Degrees.

I had never been to a real hair salon before I walked into Six Degrees. The ladies are great. The go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and each stylist has a unique personality that compliments their talents. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and new age ambiance. I will never go to another salon. Oh yah, and the view is unbelievable. Thanks girls.
